When you visit our website, the data collected from the use of the website is temporarily stored on our web server for statistical purposes in order to improve the quality of our website.

This data set contains:

  • the page, from which the data is requested
  • the name of the data file,
  • the date and time of the query,
  • the amount of data transferred,
  • the access status (file transmitted, file not found),
  • a description of the type of browser used,
  • the IP address of the requesting computer shortened to such an extent that no reidentification of any persona data is possible.

The listed usage data is stored anonymously. The processing can be based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

We do not use cookies on our website.

 6. Data Security

To avoid unauthorized access to your data, we have implemented technical and organizational measures. We use encryption technologies on our website. Your data will be transferred to our servers and back again via a connection that is protected by a TLS encryption technology. You can recognize that you are browsing on an encryption secured website by the lock-symbol shown in the address bar of your browser and by the address bar starting with https://.

If you contact us via email, as indicated on our website, the information you provide to us when contacting us will be used on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. b (if the contact request is made within the framework of a contract initiation) or Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR (in cases of a general inquiry) in the interest of answering your enquiry as simply, promptly and in a customer-friendly manner as possible. We use your data exclusively for the processing of your request and it will be deleted after the data is no longer necessary for the purpose under which it was collected and retention periods don’t apply.

In order to fulfill your request, the personal data you provided when contacting us, may be forwarded to an affiliated company of DARAG such as DARAG Deutschland AG, DARAG Services Limited, DARAG Malta Insurance and Reinsurance PCC Limited and DARAG Italia S.p.A or service providers that support us. In each case, we ensure an adequate level of personal data protection by concluding Data Processing Agreements and in cases of transfers outside the EU by additionally concluding the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or other means recognized by the GDPR to establish an adequate level of personal data protection.

7.1 Careers

If you submitted your application by sending us an email, we will process the data you provide us with in the context of your application strictly for the purpose of selecting applicants. The legal basis is Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with Sec. 26 Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) for Germany or rather Art. 6 (1) b GDPR. Data will not be processed for other purposes.

You determine the amount of data you want to send us in the context of your application. Applications are transferred electronically to our HR department and processed as quickly as possible. Applications are also forwarded to the heads of the relevant departments within the company.  The transfer is encrypted.

Further information in regards to the processing of your personal data in the context of your application will be provided by our HR-Department after receiving your application.


Your Rights

Pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you. If incorrect data have been processed, you have a right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR. If the legal requirements are met, you can request the erasure or restriction of the processing and object to the data processing (Art. 17, 18 and 21 GDPR). According to Art. 20 GDPR, you can assert the right to data portability in the case of data that are processed automatically on the basis of your consent or a contract with you. These rights may be asserted at the address indicated above under the heading “Controller”. If you are of the opinion that data processing violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR (Art. 77 GDPR).
